FLOATATION

Korofloat is a tough, rigid EPS foam, containing thousands of tiny non-interconnected air cells, each sealed to prevent waterlog.
 
Korofloat offers permanent floatation as EPS offers low water absorption by volume and high buoyancy.  Korofloat has a buoyancy design value of 55 lbs. thrust per cubic foot (providing a 12% safety margin of 7 lbs. from the 62 lbs. of water displaced by the cubic foot of Korofloat.

It gives maximum floatation for maximum value.

 

Also available are a number of coatings to protect the EPS from solvents such as oil and gas commonly found in some marina environments.

Korofloat offers value in marinas, fish farms as well as positive floatation for barges, rafts and houseboats.
